Heritage Reclamation has been privileged to work on this Oak Flooring Norway project with two of the country’s most highly-regarded, award-winning creatives, Anne Gravingen and Bendik Romstad to supply and fit oak flooring and stairs at their home in Oslo.
For a couple who have been at the pinnacle of the advertising industry (where the look and feel of a product is highly scrutinised), it was essential that we worked closely with them to ensure we delivered a product that exactly suited their requirements.
We sourced 300 year-old oak from Toulouse for the flooring, chosen specifically for the character of the grain and oak beams from Romania were used for the stairs. We flew out personally to Oslo for the fitting to ensure the product was handled with the care and craftsmanship necessary for such an important project.
