Millettia stuhlmannii, commonly known as Panga Panga is a tree found in Tanzania, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The wood is mainly resistant to insects and fungi and is frequently used to produce flooring, furniture, musical instruments and boats.

It is a common species in Africa and is harvested regularly for both its timber and for the compounds derived from its bark and roots (which are used in medicine and food enhancement), however due to the cost of importing this wood it can be an expensive choice for local customers compared with European-sourced oak and pine.

Panga Panga wood has deep, rich red tones and can give a dramatically dark aesthetic for a solid wood floor.
